I think it’s pretty clear that I love summer. I really do. I love the sunshine. I love being warm. I love getting to work out outside, running outside, and just having the desire to feel more active in general. I ALSO love lying by the pool/beach/lake in the sun with my IPod in, listening to my favorite tunes, relaxing. I think relaxation is a very important part of life, and music is something that helps me to do that. I have shared my love of crazy fun workout mixes with you, and I want to share this love with you too! So for this months music mix giveaway I bring you my current favorite Songs of Summer.

Does “Rolling in the Deep” count as a summer song? If so, I love that! Otherwise, my favorite song about summer is “In the Summertime.” It’s goofy, which I can totally relate to.

Fav Summer song?? I head Rascal Flatts “Summer Nights” yesterday and I thought to myself, this is the song that I would love to blast from my stereo with the top down on my jeep-jeep (when it’s much warmer!)

Definitely loving Adele right now, though her songs don’t really seem very summery, I guess. Have to agree with Jason Aldean’s (Aldene?) “Dirt Road Anthem” At first when I heard it I didn’t think I liked it. Like, why is this country music guy rapping? But it’s definitely grown on me.
