The “Better than nothing” Workout

I went to bed SUPER late last night. My body of course is on its own mental clock and woke up early. Unfortunately waking up to a gray sky didn’t pump up my energy levels much, but despite feeling pretty tired I drug myself to the gym. This is the workout that I’d like to say is better than nothing. A maintenance workout, if you will.

Warm up: 10 minutes on the elliptical

Repeat through 3X’s through
12 assisted pullups
alt with
12 reverse lunges with a bicep curl (15 lb db’s)
alt with
12 reverse lunges

Repeat through 3X’s through
12 squat upright row/overhead presses
alt with
15 push ups

25 more minutes of sprint intervals on the elliptical while watching the food network channel…dangerous…

The whole workout was about 1 hour and 10 minutes, and I felt like it was sufficient for today. I covered all the muscle groups and got some cardio in.
Some days you just have to do what you can and that is “Better than nothing.”

What does your, “better than nothing,” workout consist of?

I’ve had days where I run a quick mile or two on the treadmill and call it a day. Not the best but better than nothing.
