For the past few months some of my family and friends have been training for the Salt Lake City Half Marathon. It has been hard work, but a lot of fun. Yesterday was the culmination of all of our training, The Race! It was such a great experience. It was so fun to run with so many people that I love so much! It was hard, but worth it. It is amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. It made me think about goals, and what we are capable of. When I have a set idea of something that I want to accomplish, and I commit myself to a goal I am 100% more likely to accomplish that goal, than if I simply said, “oh i’d like to do that.” Set a goal for yourself, and find a way to make it happen. You can do anything! Thanks to Ben for training with me, and to my family for keeping me motivated. Way to go! We did it!!! now on to the full marathon… 😉

congrats! You could have done the full though!
Your family is so adorable. I’m so proud of you! Thanks for being my inspiration!
AMAZING! That’s all I can say! It was neat to be able to watch you guys. I’m in the next race, I promise I won’t wuss out. 🙂
YAY!!! way to go meggie. i’m way proud of you guys. AND love the matching black! i gotta get my family down for something like this…
I looked for you guys but didn’t see you! I wish I would have done the half… i didn’t want to do the full marathon again, but I should have done the half. Maybe next year I will do it with you!
Meg, I just wanted Say congrats! You guys are so motivational 😉 Are you guys going to run in Bear Lake??
It was so awesome to run with everyone. Denny has a great analogy of the race comparing it to life. Talk to him about it. I had so much energy the whole race and it was totally because everywhere I looked someone was there to push me along. Are you in for St. George? I am debating???
Megs, That was such a high! I loved it so much ! Just being there with all of you guys, training, keeping focused on our goal. I would never have been able to have comleted it without all the team encouragement. Thanks for inviting me Megan. You are awesome! You’re a motivator!
Have you heard about this site? I thought you might like to write about it: http://www.thedailyplate.com/
I will never leave my beloved Fitday, but this is a nice free option.
Thanks for dragging my butt across the finish line! hahaha. Im so glad I was able to meet up with you guys! That was such an awesome feeling to have trained for so long and to finally have it over. Count me in for next year 🙂
